Antares Vision from Brescia in Italy have integrated the IPS inkjet system into their ATS, Antares Tracking System.
The ATS is the first tracking system to comply with all Turkish Health Ministry validation tests. Turkey is the first country that has issued national legislation based on European directives for pharmaceutical product tracking as of 2009.
Excellent Quality Code Reading
The inkjet prints a four-line message, containing identifier and manufacturer, unique serial number, expiry date and batch number. This information is translated into a Data Matrix code that is also printed onto each carton for product tracking. Massimo Bonardi, Technical Manager says: “Using IPS with high-definition Jet Black Delta Plus ink, we achieve excellent code printing quality, which is also acknowledged by our customers in the field.”
